Our Story

Baking has always been a love of mine. From whipping up original, delicious recipes with our kids and sharing the tasty sweets with family and friends, I knew this could grow into something more. 

 

In 2015, we decided to spread the joy and baked goods to our small, wonderful town. Mixed in with locally sourced coffee, quality ingredients, and a love for community, Sweets & Java was born.

 

This is your cafe. A warm, welcoming place where you’re greeted by name and can enjoy freshly-made authentic Irish scones and a steamy cup of coffee with a friend. 

 

We’re proudly women-owned and operated, but don’t be surprised if you see my husband Bryan make an appearance (or many) in the cafe too! This place is our home, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
